Minister Carroll MacNeill launches public consultation on Health Sector Adaptation Plan for Climate Change

The 2025 (draft) Health Sectoral Adaptation Plan is informed by the National Climate Change Risk Assessment published in June this year. Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill has now launched a four-week public consultation on the second Health Sectoral Adaptation Plan, aiming to collect feedback on the development of the plan, the range of risks identified, as well as the overall ambition for the health sector climate action. The plan introduces a framework for sectoral collaboration to ensure climate adaptation measures align with health priorities and charts a pathway towards climate resilience in the health sector.
